Garrett Dunsmoor Grant helps the VOW Foundation with Virtual Education.

The VOW Foundation held it’s first virtual event, the 7th Annual Oswego County SAFE Fair, in October. Realizing the need to continue with education and awareness during this pandemic, Teresa Woolson of the VOW Foundation moved the Annual event to a virtual format. Needing to continue educating online, during the pandemic and beyond, application was made to the Garrett Dunsmoor Memorial Foundation for assistance. With the Grant, the VOW Foundation has upgraded the website, including add-on applications and added a business license for Kahoot, which is a virtual online educational presentation and gaming program for youth and young adults.

These new enhancements for the VOW website will assure education and awareness will continue on a virtual basis starting out with the 15 live presentations recorded and available on the site, as well as 9 Spotlight Interviews with service providers and volunteers in Oswego County recorded in early October. These educational recordings are now available for all ages on the website to view anytime.
